The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
This distinctive single malt gains its complex, yet rich and smooth taste from a unique maturation process in two different types of oak cask. It is first aged in traditional oak whisky casks and then transferred to European oak sherry butts. This “DoubleWood” process imparts a balance of nutty sweetness, spicy notes, and a delicate sherry flavour.

- Nose: A sweet fruit and Oloroso sherry nose, married with hints of honey and vanilla from the original American oak aging.
- Palate: Smooth and mellow with beautifully combined flavours; nutty sweetness, cinnamon spiciness, and a layer of finely balanced sherry and oak.
